At the same time, it is necessary to know the load (PF) and accuracy (PPM) of the crystal oscillator.

2. For the procurement of 32.768K crystal oscillators, we need to master the accuracy, model (or volume) of the crystal oscillators. If the model is a chip mounted crystal oscillator, there is no need to ask about the pin position, just grasp the load and accuracy of the crystal oscillator. Because the model indicates the volume of the crystal oscillator and what surface packaging it belongs to. In addition, when the model of the plug-in crystal oscillator is unknown, it is necessary to describe the shape of the plug-in crystal oscillator in detail. Common plug-in crystal oscillator shapes include cylindrical, elliptical iron shell with two legs, and U-shaped.

3. For active crystal oscillators, it is necessary to first determine from the model whether it is a temperature compensated crystal oscillator or a voltage controlled crystal oscillator. The abbreviation for temperature compensated oscillator is TCXO, the abbreviation for voltage controlled oscillator is VCXO, and the abbreviation for voltage controlled temperature compensated oscillator is VC-TCXO. Additionally, it is important to know how to determine its volume based on the model, without having to look at the preceding letters, just studying the following numbers. So from the model, you can know everything about the crystal oscillator parameters, just provide additional crystal oscillator load capacitance and precision PPM. The voltage is sufficient.

4. For commonly used SMT packaging in the market: 25203225503260357050. The above packaging, with known frequency, if the crystal oscillator is a two pin SMT crystal oscillator, we need to know whether it is a ceramic surface packaging or a metal surface packaging. The commonly used specifications for ceramic surface packaging of two pin SMT crystal oscillators are 5032 SMT crystal oscillators and 6035 SMT crystal oscillators. If the crystal oscillator is a four pin SMT crystal oscillator, special attention should be paid because it may be a passive or active crystal oscillator.
